William IV Period Satin Beech Library Writing Table
A William IV period Satin Beech Library Writing Table.
This library writing table is unusual specimen owing to the choice of wood incorporated in its manufacture. Visually stunning, satin beech is less commonly seen in furniture of this period and makes a superb and lighter alternative to mahogany. The desk comes fitted with two drawers with lion head brass knobs and is finished with a navy blue leather skiver and brass gallery rail. The table is complete with ball turned legs and brass castors.
