A Pair of Silver & Enamel Lidded Flasks in Leather Case by Percy Whitehouse. London 1907
A pair of silver and enamel lidded glass flasks of semi-circular form by Silversmith Percy Horace Arthur Whitehouse.
The lids are hallmarked for London 1907 and bear the makers mark, P.W. The flasks are housed in a circular leather case with buckle closure. Leather is in superb condition with some very minor water (or gin) staining commensurate with age.
Whitehouse was a top manufacturer of high quality dressing case fittings and bottle mounts who worked with notable London dealers such as Aspreys and Mappin & Webb.
