Early Victorian Giltwood & Carved Tabletop Music Stand
An early Victorian giltwood and carved tabletop music stand.
This superbly detailed music stand sits upon four cabriole legs with outswept scroll feet with scrolled frieze panels and criss cross design with floral motifs at the cross sections. It has a generous serpentine single ratchet and hinged frame above.
A super little piece which would have originally been used as a piano music stand but is equally useful as a reading or book stand.
