Georgian Mahogany Architect's Desk with Fretted Shelves over Single Drawer
For sale, an unusual converted George II mahogany architects table circa 1760.
Unlike other tables of this type, this has a period conversion with the removal of the ratchet top and the inclusion of a beautifully fretted shelf top, central two door cupboard and key.
Akin to other tables of this period, the drawer has a sliding baize to the top which pushes back to reveal the drawer below and has pull out candlestick supports to either side.
An interesting piece of Georgian furniture.
