A Regency Period mahogany bergere library tub armchair.
This fine example has a mahogany frame with superb patina, outswept backrest and shepherd’s crook style arms. It sits upon expertly turned legs and is complete with original castors. The frame has been recaned throughout to ensure continued use and the original squab cushion has been restuffed using the original base material and has been newly upholstered using quality black leather hide.
A super and extremely comfortable example of the style. Circa 1820.
